In a world that often feels heavy, fractured, and worn thin, Easter tells a stubbornly hopeful story. Not that everything is suddenly fixed, but that life, love, and renewal keep breaking through anyway. Resurrection is not denial of suffering, it is defiance of despair.
We invite you to celebrate Easter with Haven Berkeley as we gather for worship, music, food, and shared joy. This will be a morning rooted in hope, honesty, and community, with room for wonder, grief, laughter, and connection.
🌿 Easter Service | 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
We’ll begin with a special Easter Sunday service [potentially featuring a blend of traditional worship and live jazz, as we welcome back the talented Berkeley High Jazz Combo (and alum), including our very own Haven-ite, Elliott Martens, plus a special guest worship leader, the one and only Jenn Luna!"] that blends tradition with creativity. Together, we’ll celebrate resurrection as a living, breathing hope that still meets us where we are.
🥗 Potluck Lunch & Easter Celebration | 12:40 PM - 2:00 PM
After the service, stay and linger. Share a meal. Catch up with friends. Make new ones. Enjoy a community potluck lunch [potentially with live jazz in the background] as we celebrate the season together. Bring a dish if you can, and come hungry either way.
🥚 Easter Egg Hunt | For Kids 5th Grade & Under
Kids are invited to join our Easter Egg Hunt during the celebration. If you’d like to donate eggs, there’s a signup link below. Non-sugary treats are encouraged, but not required. Visiting for the first time? your kids are welcome to jump right in, no eggs needed.
