Mark your calendars and get ready for a night of music, poetry, storytelling, and community! Haven is hosting its next Open Mic Night on Saturday, May 30, and we’d love for you (and your friends, family, and neighbors!) to be part of it. This is a community-wide event: open to all, not just Haven folks! And we want the room full of energy, creativity, and connection.
Here’s the plan:
6:45 PM – Doors open, snacks and sign-ups (if any slots outside of early sign-up remain).
7:00 PM – Event begins - Leah kicks things off with a 20 minute set of original music.
7:20 - 9:30 PM - A variety of performances interspersed with a couple of ten-minute breaks where you can partake in refreshments
9:30-10:00 PM - Clean up!
We’ll have approximately 16 slots available total (Sign-Ups available below!), with the option of a couple “on-call” spots if there’s time, depending on if an individual doesn't hit the full 5-minute time slot. Advance sign-ups are encouraged, but we’ll hold some in reserve to give everyone a chance to participate!
✨ Food & Drinks: We’ll have baked goods and beverages available by donation, with all proceeds supporting Haven’s programs. If you’d like to contribute, you can also sign up to bring something sweet or sip-worthy to share.
