Get ready for a night of music, poetry, storytelling, and community!  Haven is hosting its first Open Mic Night on Saturday, October 11, and we’d love for you (and your friends, family, and neighbors!) to be part of it.  This is a community-wide event: open to all, not just Haven folks!  And we want the room full of energy, creativity, and connection.

Here’s the plan:

• 6:45 PM – Doors open, snacks and sign-ups (if any slots outside of early sign-up remain).

• 7:00 PM – Event begins!

• 7:10–7:30 PM – Leah kicks things off with a set of original music.

• 7:30–7:40 PM – Short break #1.

• 7:40–8:30 PM – 8 performance slots (5 minutes each).

• 8:30–8:40 PM – Short break #2.

• 8:40–9:30 PM – 8 performance slots (5 minutes each)

• 9:30-10:00 PM - Clean up!

We’ll have 16 slots available total (Sign-Ups Open Oct. 1st!), with the option of a couple “on-call” spots if there’s time, depending on if an individual doesn't hit the full 5-minute time slot.  Advance sign-ups are encouraged, but if there are still openings, you can claim a spot at the door!

✨ Food & Drinks: We’ll have baked goods and beverages available.  Rather than fixed prices, everything will be by donation, so give what you can, and enjoy!

Plan to stick around until 9:30 (or a little later to help with cleanup), but if not all slots fill, we may wrap up earlier. 
Either way, it’s sure to be a fun and creative evening.
