Through local nonprofit Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity, Leah is now partnering with other faith leaders and volunteers throughout the Bay Area to help facilitate court vigils at the ICE facility in San Francisco.  These vigils are intended to create a sacred space of hope, connection, and community outside the courtroom doors for those awaiting their immigration hearings.  Activities include offering presence and spiritual solidarity, refreshment hospitality, prayer, art, music, and generally providing sacred witness. 

Vigils are scheduled several times a week at the San Francisco and Concord ICE facilities. 

Leah will be leading the team at 630 Sansome in San Francisco on the the following upcoming Tuesdays from 8 - 10 am: 9/23, 10/7, 10/21.  You can sign up here to join her, or participate in any other gatherings that work better for your schedule.
