Beginning this October, we’ll gather on the first Sunday of each month after service for a time of listening prayer and discernment.  As a community, we’re setting aside time to listen together for the Spirit’s guidance in shaping Haven’s future.  Through the practice of listening prayer, we’ll invite the Holy Spirit to speak into our lives and our community, and we’ll discern together what direction God may be calling us toward in this season.

This first gathering will be hosted by Ginny at her home in South Berkeley (address available upon RSVP), and after that we'll alternate each month between Ginny's and Leah's homes.  We’ll share a simple rhythm of silence, reflection, and conversation, holding space for what each person experiences.  Light refreshments will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring a packed lunch or pick something up on your way.

All are welcome, whether you’ve practiced listening prayer before or are simply curious to try it.  Let’s lean in together as we seek God’s presence and guidance in a time of challenge and change.
